HAMPTON — Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse issued an Amber Alert Monday afternoon on behalf of the Hampton Police Department for the abduction of two children Sunday.
The children are believed to be in extreme danger and were last seen at the Walmart at 1900 Cunningham Drive in Hampton, police said in an alert on social media.
The children are believed to have been abducted by Timothy Truitt, described as a white male with brown hair, brown eyes, 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 175 pounds. Police said he was last seen wearing a black shirt with a yellow logo on the chest, gray shorts, and white shoes and driving a maroon sedan.
The children are described as one-year-old Adriana Truitt, a white female with sandy hair, blue eyes, two feet tall and weighing 30 pounds, last seen wearing a white long-sleeve onesie, gray sweatpants, and red, white, blue baseball socks, and two-year-old Jaxon Truitt, a biracial male with brown hair, brown eyes, three feet tall and weighing 25 pounds, last seen wearing a long sleeve black shirt with “Born to win” in red text, black sweatpants, and gray and blue sneakers.
