The new senior resort-style community celebrated its groundbreaking at a rain-soaked ceremony Thursday morning.
“We, of course, have been looking in this area for a while,” said CEO of SRI Management Don Bishop in an interview with WYDaily. “We think this is an amazing site and a great location. There’s a lot of demand for the services that we provide.”
Harper’s Station Yorktown is planned for a grand total of 158,000 square feet. The multi-level property will offer 158 units to residents and will provide spaces for independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
According to information provided by SRI Management, the property will offer, onsite therapies and scheduled transportation to medical appointments and care.

The property will be looking to hire a sales team during the first quarter of next year, around the winter season. SRI management forecasts Harper’s Station Yorktown will bring 75 jobs to the area.
SRI Management anticipates the property will be ready by the latter half of Spring 2024, however, Bishop says the property is already accepting applications and there are “founder’s incentives” for early sign-ups. There have already been two deposits/commitments registered for the future property.
