WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg Police Department (WPD) announced the identification and arrest of two suspects involved in an armed robbery at the 3000 block of Richmond Road on Sept. 23.
A Criminal Investigations Bureau investigation revealed that 32-year-old Preston Teague Fox and Williamsburg and 33-year-old England Marie Holley, both of Williamsburg, committed the armed robbery of a local business.
According to WPD, Fox was located and arrested in Norfolk and Holley, who was in custody in Norfolk at the time the warrants were obtained, was served at the Norfolk City Jail.
WPD said that investigators combed through surveillance footage, received anonymous information, and executed a search warrant which led to identifying Fox and Holley as the offenders.
Investigators obtained felony warrants for:
- Firearm use in the commission of a felony
- Armed Robbery
- Conspiracy to commit armed robbery
- Possession of tools with the intent to commit robbery
