WILLIAMSBURG — Folk/country singer Angela Easterling will be performing on Sept. 17 at the Williamsburg Library as part of the library’s Dewey Decibel concert series.

Easterling lives with her musical partner, Brandon Turner, and their three sons in Greer, South Carolina, residing on the farm that has been in Easterling’s family since 1791.

Easterling brands her songwriting as rootsy, refreshing, homespun tunes. Her backing band, The Beguilers (bass, drums, and lead guitar), are masters of many complex styles. Their instrumentation fleshes out the stories in Easterling’s songs and adds some rocking fun. Not quite country, not quite folk, but altogether unique and engaging.

Tickets for the concert are $5 per person and $4 for Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library, pricing made possible by the Friends of the Williamsburg Regional Library Foundation.

The concert will be a 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the library’s event page or by calling 757.741.3370.
