WILLIAMSBURG — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) responded to emergency calls regarding multiple gunshots at the 7-Eleven located at 4840 Longhill Road Wednesday afternoon.
According to JCCPD, at approximately 12:48 p.m., James City County Emergency Communications received calls regarding shots fired in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven. By the time officers arrived, all involved had left the scene.
Multiple witnesses told police of an altercation in the parking lot with shots fired before both parties fled.
JCCPD said that shell casings were discovered in the area. No injuries were reported and property damage was minimal.
