Richard Timberlake is an experienced firearms instructor. He is hosting a firearms safety class and certification for concealed carry permits on Aug. 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Norge Bazaar and Ice Cream Shoppe, 7521 Richmond Rd. He said the course will teach gun owners how to properly handle their firearm, understanding of the laws pertaining to firearm ownership and use, and the importance of situational awareness.
