Chamber Insights – August 2022

This July, the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce enjoyed connecting its members through a variety of networking events, like the Business After Hours. Most recently hosted by Colonial Williamsburg at the Williamsburg Lodge, Chamber members enjoyed networking, raffle prizes from Brick & Vine and The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg, and a special welcome message from Patrick Henry himself.

The next Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, August 25 at Great Wolf Lodge from 5 PM to 7 PM. Tickets are available online.

The Chamber will host its 2022 Job Fair in partnership with the Hampton Roads Workforce Council on Wednesday, August 17th from 10 AM to 3 PM. The Job Fair will take place in the William & Mary School of Education Matoaka Room, located at 301 Monticello Avenue. There are over 1,000 local job opportunities available at this event, with many employers conducting on-site interviews for on-the-spot hiring. Job seekers can register online.

The Chamber is proud to present its annual Night of Oktoberfest at Busch Gardens Williamsburg from 6 PM to 9 PM on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022. Purchase tickets for a fun evening of networking, food, drinks, rides, games, prizes, a live DJ, and photo ops with strolling Howl-O-Scream characters.
