YORK COUNTY — York County is offering one-time grants of up to $5,000 in support of community nonprofit organizations.

Monies for the program come from the county’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.

Funds may be used for expenses directly related to improving the nonprofit, including creating new marketing campaigns, paying vendor invoices, providing services to the community and other eligible expenditures.

Grant applications are available online and may be submitted beginning Monday, July 25. Applications must be completed in full and include a 501(c)(3) Letter of Determination. Applicants must meet certain eligibility requirements.

Staff will begin reviewing the applications in mid-August. Grants will be awarded as long as funds are available.

Complete details and the application can be found online and via the county website home page.
