YORKTOWN — Celebrate all things summer Saturday, July 16 at the Fun in the Sun Market from 8 a.m.-noon, part of Yorktown Market Days at Riverwalk Landing.
Shop for seasonal items including tomatoes, corn, watermelon, and squash.
This special market will also feature ice-cold drinks, live Caribbean steel drum music, hula hoops and corn hole, a shell painting craft from On the Hill Gallery and unique photo opportunities. Kids activities begin at 9 a.m.
The One Love Caribbean Steel Drum Band will perform on the Riverwalk Landing Performance Stage from 9 a.m. noon.
There is no charge for the market and it is held rain or shine.
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing parking terrace, York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building, and other designated public parking lots.
The complimentary, wheelchair-accessible Yorktown Trolley starts at 10 a.m. on Market Days and makes several convenient stops throughout town.
