Colonial Williamsburg Fife & Drum Alumni Association Presents Tricorn Scholarship
The Colonial Williamsburg Fife & Drum Alumni Association announced Ryan Lindley received its Tricorn Scholarship for 2022.
The scholarship is available to senior members of the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes & Drums and is based primarily on merit and accomplishments within the Corps, in addition to other accomplishments, according to a press release. Eligible seniors who apply go through an interview process.
“Ryan showed exemplary leadership skills and is truly admired by his current corps members. He went above and beyond during the COVID shutdown by reaching out to other corps members and maintaining the integrity and quality of the corps. He also volunteers much of his time to helping his fellow corps members learn and become not only better musicians but better people,” the organization said.
Lindley is currently the Sergeant Major of the corps and will be attending the College of William & Mary in the fall.
