WILLIAMSBURG — Charles W. Sutherland, a published author and member of Chesapeake Bay Writers (CBW), kicked off a new forum for writers to discuss ideas and upcoming projects May 21 at Column 15 in Williamsburg.
“Coffee Shop Conversations” is designed to provide published and aspiring writers a semimonthly opportunity to discuss their work.
“If anyone would like to have an informal discussion of their upcoming books or articles or exchange ideas or receive an evaluation … or criticism… of style or concepts, I will be available at 10:30 a.m. on the first and third Saturday of each month,” Sutherland said in a press release.
Column 15 is located at 701 Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg. The next Coffee Shop Conversations will take place June 18 at 10:30 a.m. and will continue on first and third Saturdays this summer. For additional information, email sutherland.author@yahoo.com
“It’s a new coffee shop, a nice atmosphere for writers, and outdoor tables as well,” Sutherland said.
