WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg Parks and Recreation will host its annual Memorial Mile this weekend.

“We are honored to share the stories of those heroes who were taken too soon,” Williamsburg Parks and Recreation Deputy Director Tyler Cobb said. “Memorial Mile is a small way to acknowledge their sacrifices and honor their memories.”

Remembrance signs will be displayed to honor fallen Military, Fire, EMS, law enforcement members, and K9s killed in the line of duty, highlighting their stories of bravery and sacrifice.

All are welcome to visit the tribute Friday, May 27 through Monday, May 30, at Waller Mill Park, 901 Airport Road. The park will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the weekend.
