WILLIAMSBURG — Five of Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW)’s nine roller coasters are celebrating milestone anniversaries this year.
BGW is hosting a 10-day long “Ride the Five” celebration to honor Alpengeist, Griffon, Verbolten, InvadR and its newest ride, Pantheon, from May 19-30.
Alpengeist is celebrating its 25th anniversary, Griffon is celebrating 15 years, Verbolten is celebrating 10 years, InvadR is celebrating five years and Pantheon is celebrating its inaugural year.
Guests are invited to take part in the Ride the Five coaster challenge, in which they are challenged to ride all five coasters once in 60 minutes and post a selfie with the hashtag #RideTheFiveCoasterChallenge for the chance to be featured on BGW’s social channels.
“Ride the Five” will also kick off BGW’s summer festivities with a park-wide scavenger hunt, specialty merchandise, culinary offerings and more.
