YORK COUNTY — The York County School Division (YCSD) advised parents to be prepared for early dismissals over the next two school days due to the threat of significant tidal flooding.
“The timing of the afternoon high tides will affect the ability of the division and parents to deliver students home at normal dismissal,” according to an email announcement by the division on Monday, May 9.
Parents are encouraged to make preparations and are advised that schools will work with them to accommodate early checkout.
