Yorktown Trolley to Return in April

YORKTOWN — York County announced that the Yorktown Trolley is making its 2022 return to Historic Yorktown on Friday, April 1.

The trolley can serve 28 seated and 19 standing passengers, and the route makes stops at nine locations.

The service runs from Yorktown Battlefield Center to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. While on its route, the trolley makes stops at Victory Monument, Historic Main Street, Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown Beach, Watermen’s Museum, and the Courts and Office Complex.

The 2022 York Trolley Schedule is:

  • April 1 – May 26 (daily): 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • May 27 – September 5 (daily): 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 6 – Nov. 20 (daily): 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Holiday schedule is:

  • Nov. 25 – Dec. 18 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday only): 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Each trolley meets the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards (ADA) and therefore is ADA accessible.

Additionally, the trolleys will include an infotainment system that highlights details about upcoming Yorktown events and business promotions in the area.

Due to the federal mass transit mask mandate, masks are required on the trolley through April 18, 2022.

Visitors and users of the trolley this season can now download the “SPOT ETA” mobile app to view wait estimated wait times at each stop.
