YORKTOWN — The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (YPSO) is seeking information regarding larceny that occurred at the County’s senior center.
On Monday, March 14, a patron of the Senior Center of York, located in Yorktown at 5314 George Washington Memorial Hwy. (Rte. 17) in the Washington Square Shopping Center, left the items by the front door in order to retrieve her vehicle. During that short interval, an unidentified male was seen on surveillance driving a white Dodge minivan to the curb and then taking the items.
The patron honked her car horn at the suspect, who quickly fled the premises in the minivan, running several stop signs.
YPSO is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual pictured in this story. Information can be relayed to YPSO by calling (757) 890-4999 or the Crime Line at (888) LOCK-U-UP. Residents are asked to reference report #2201025.
