WILLIAMSBURG — The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (CWF) is hosting a hiring event on March 12.
This hiring event, which will take place at the Williamsburg Lodge, 416 E. Duke of Gloucester Street, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is the second hiring event offered by CWF this month. The first one took place on March 5.
CWF has been stepping up its hiring efforts across the entire organization. As a result, it has open positions in hospitality roles, guest services, housekeeping, and other positions.
The CWF website divides these jobs into the following categories, all have positions available and are actively hiring:
- Foundation Jobs
- Hospitality Jobs
- Food & Beverage Jobs
- Spa Jobs
- Golf Jobs
- Retail Jobs
- Merchants Square Jobs
The Foundation is offering a limited-time $500-$1500 hiring bonus to Colonial Williamsburg Company positions only.
The $500 signing bonus is offered for hourly positions, with $200 is paid following the completion of the new hire’s first full schedule. The remaining $300 is offered after 60 days of employment. Exempt positions will receive a bonus of $1500. $500 is paid following the 30 days of employment and the remainder of $1,000 after 90 days of employment.
Those seeking employment will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. This is because CWF requires that all employees are fully vaccinated; two weeks after the second dose either Moderna or Pfizer, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. A condition of employment is to show proof of vaccination.
