YORK COUNTY — York County School Division (YCSD) is seeking input from residents as it develops a strategic plan for the next five years.

On Tuesday, Feb. 22, YCSD sent an email to families of students in the district containing a link for a survey that asks questions about what the Division’s priorities should be over the coming years.

The answers given on the survey will be used to identify YCSD’s vision, mission, values and long-term goals.

The current five year plan will expire at the end of the 2021-2022 school.

The Division stated of the current plan, “[We] are proud of the progress we have made towards our current goals and are excited to begin building upon that work with the support and input of our community.”

Employees, families, students, and community members of the public are encouraged to complete the survey.

The last day to complete the survey and share feedback is Wednesday, March 3. Once the results are in, YCSD will plan focus group events for the spring. These events as well as other district data will help YCSD finalize the new strategic plan.
