JCCPD Investigates Incidents of Thefts from Unlocked Vehicles

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is investigating incidents of thefts from unlocked vehicles.

During the overnight hours of Jan. 26 to Jan. 27, multiple incidents of theft from unlocked vehicles and vehicle tampering occurred in the Liberty Crossing neighborhood and at the AAA located at 6517 Richmond Rd.

Jewelry, electronics and gift cards were among the items stolen.

Surveillance photos from residential and commercial cameras in the area captured who is believed to be the person responsible for the thefts.
