Dare Elementary Releases Early Due to Partial Power Outage

YORK COUNTY — Dare Elementary School, 300 Dare Rd, will be dismissing students at 11:30 a.m. today, Feb. 22 due a partial power outage.

At 10:14 a.m. York County School Division (YCSD) sent out an urgent message to division families stating that Dominion Energy and YCSD staff will need to shut the power off to the entire building in order to address the outages.

As a result there will be no afternoon preschool, or Right at at School childcare today.

Bag lunches will be available to students.
