21st Annual Jamestown H.S. Swamp Run/Walk 5k

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The Jamestown High School (JHS) 21st annual Swamp Run 5K Run/Walk to benefit the JHS Athletic Booster Club will be held Saturday, Feb. 26.

The Colonial Road Runners Grand Prix Event will also include a One Mile Fun Run and features a mostly flat 5K loop course that starts and ends at Jamestown High School, 3751 John Tyler Highway, and follows part of the Greensprings Interpretive Trail behind the school.

The JHS Athletic Booster Club is run by parent volunteers to support athletic programs through fundraising and promote involvement and cooperation amongst the school’s administration, coaches and parents.

The 5K will take place from 9:30-11 a.m. and costs $30. The One Mile Fun Run/Walk is free and will take place from 9 a.m-11 a.m.

Registration ends Wednesday, Feb. 23. Late registration is available the day of the race at 8 a.m.

The Greensprings Interpretive Trail and trailhead parking will remain open to the public during the event.
