HISTORIC TRIANGLE — In observance of Presidents’ Day, local government entities have announced the following closures:
James City County
- County Offices: Closed Monday, Feb. 21.
- Parks: All County parks are open year-round.
- Park Stores and Guest Services Offices: Chickahominy Riverfront Park, Little Creek Reservoir Park, James City County Marina and Freedom Park office/stores are closed Monday, Feb. 21.
- Convenience Centers: Tewning Road and Jolly Pond Road are open Monday, Feb. 21. Toano Convenience Center is open on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Garbage Transfer Station: Open Monday, Feb. 21.
- Curbside Schedule: No change to regular service.
- Libraries: Open Monday, Feb. 21.
- Courts: Closed Monday, Feb. 21.
City of Williamsburg
- City Offices: Closed Monday, Feb. 21, 2022. This includes all offices in the Municipal Building on Lafayette Street.
- Quarterpath Recreation Center: Closed Saturday, Feb. 19 through Monday, Feb. 21.
- Waller Mill Park: Open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Courts: Closed, Monday, Feb. 21
Garbage will be collected on its regular schedule Monday and Tuesday. For water emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays, please call (757) 220-2331. More information can be found on the public works website.
To pay a city bill, use the 24-hour drop box located in front of the Municipal Building, 401 Lafayette St. Drop box payments made on Feb. 21 will not be posted until Feb. 22.

- County Government Offices: Closed Monday, Feb. 21.
- Courts: Closed Monday, Feb. 21.
- York-Poquoson Social Services: Closed Monday, Feb. 21.
- Virginia Cooperative Extension– Closed Monday, Feb. 21.
