York County Board of Supervisors Releases Agenda for February Regular Meeting

YORK COUNTY — The York County Board of Supervisors is set to convene for its monthly regular meeting on Feb. 15.

According to the agenda released by the board, matters up for consideration include:

  • Rezoning the piece of land on Goodwin Neck Road that is the site for the future York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office building. Currently the 12-acre site is zoned as “Limited Business” and according to the memorandum from County Administrator Neil Morgan, it needs to be zoned as “Limited Industrial”.
  • An applications to establish a tourist homes at 1445 Penniman Road and 306 York Downs Drive respectively.
  • An application to open a car rental establishment on the site of the old Dairy Queen located at 105 Bypass Rd.

This meeting is open to the public and is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. in the York Hall board room, located at 301 Main St. in Yorktown. For those unable to attend, it can be viewed on WYCG-TV Cox Cable Channel 46, Verizon Channel 38, and live online at the Board of Supervisor’s website.
