YORK COUNTY — York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office (YPSO) deputies responded to the 100 block of Winsome Haven Drive in Seaford to investigate reports of a person brandishing a gun on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 3.
According to a press release posted on the YPSO Facebook page, deputies arrested a 16-year-old boy for reportedly pointing a gun at a female victim and threatening to kill everyone on premises. He then pointed the gun at a male and pulled the trigger, but the gun malfunctioned.
The suspect faces a slew of charges including, two counts of brandishing, possession of a firearm by a minor, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and attempted homicide.
He is being held at the Merrimac Detention Center on Merrimac Trail.
