WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary Tribe Athletics will host the ninth annual Shoeless Showdown on Thursday, Feb. 3 in the 7 p.m. game against the Charleston Cougars at the Kaplan Arena.
Presented by C&F Bank, the goal of the event is to raise awareness for children and adults in the community in need of shoes.
New pairs of shoes collected on Thursday will be donated to FISH, Inc., a local nonprofit agency providing help to residents of the Greater Williamsburg area.
Fans who donate a pair of new shoes will receive free admission to the game against Charleston, a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich, a $10 coupon toward a new C&F Bank checking account and two free tickets to a future Tribe game.
