WRL Celebrates Youth Art in the Community with Youth Art Show

WILLIAMSBURG — The Williamsburg Regional Library (WRL) is inviting middle and high school students in James City County (JCC), York County, and the City of Williamsburg to participate in the WRL Youth Art Show in March.

Cash prizes will be awarded for first place middle school entry, first place high school entry and Best of Show.

Entries will be displayed publicly at the exhibit space in the Stryker Center, 412 N Boundary St., between March 6 and March 31.

All participants and family members are invited to a special artist reception at Stryker Center from 4 to 6 p.m. on March 12.

Any size media type is eligible for submission, but the artwork must be easily mounted to a wall.

Participants can drop off one hangable artwork to the children’s department at either WRL building, 515 Scotland St. or 7770 Croaker Rd., by Feb. 25.
