YORK COUNTY — York County has released the 2022 Beautiful York County monthly calendar, which features pictures sent in by county residents of local wildlife.
The theme for the free calendar was pollinators such as bees, birds, butterflies, flowers and trees. The York County Beautification Committee sponsored a contest for submissions for the calendar. Committee members selected thirteen pictures; one for each month plus the cover that best illustrated the theme. The photographer for each picture received a $100 prize.
The calendars are available while supplies last at the Waste Management Center, 145 Goodwin Neck Rd., Public Works, 105 Service Rd., Tabb Library, 100 Long Green Blvd., County offices at Washington Square Shopping Center, the Registrar’s Office in Victory Village Shopping Center, and the Williamsburg Regional Library.
