Winners of 2021 Christmas Parade Announced

WILLIAMSBURG — The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of the 2021 Christmas Parade.

The parade, which was held on Sunday, Dec. 5, welcomed over 15,000 spectators, a new record for community
attendance and up 50 percent from the previous parade in 2019, according to the Chamber.

Illuminated for the first time ever, the parade featured floats and walking units that were judged in eight categories.

A panel of judges scored each entry based on overall creativity, participant enthusiasm, and adherence to the parade’s ‘Joy to the World’ theme.

The Chamber announced the winners on Tuesday, Dec. 14:

Animal Organization

First Place: Life with Pigs Farm Animal Sanctuary

Second Place: Livestock Stables

Children’s Organization

Tied for First Place: Boy Scout Troop 103

Tied for First Place: Cub Scout Pack 100

Second Place: Virginia Regional Ballet

Civic Organization

First Place: Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg

Second Place: Williamsburg Host Lions Club

Commercial Business

First Place: Trader Joe’s

Second Place: Williams Landscape & Design

Non-Profit Organization

Tied for First Place: Paws of Honor

Tied for First Place: Child Development Resources

Second Place: Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast

Performing Group

First Place: Broadway Dance Arts

Second Place: World Class Gymnastics

Religious Organization

First Place: Williamsburg Christian Academy

Second Place: The Salvation Army

Vehicular Club

First Place: Colonial Virginia Model T Club

Second Place: Williamsburg Rod and Custom
