WILLIAMSBURG — This year, children can tell Santa what they want for Christmas from the comfort of their homes.
The Junior Woman’s Club of Williamsburg (JWCW) will host a Zoom with Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 18 and Sunday, Dec. 19.
The virtual holiday event will benefit families that are celebrating socially-distanced this year or wanting to include distant family members in their visit with Santa.
For $30, families will receive a private 15-minute session with Santa. They can also get a recording of the session as a keepsake or a personalized letter from the North Pole for an additional fee.
All proceeds will benefit JWCW’s philanthropy, which includes scholarships for high school seniors and mini-grants to various local nonprofit organizations.
Established in 1954, JWCW is a volunteer organization for women in the community in their 20s, 30s and 40s. The club holds several fundraising events each year and supports nonprofits through financial and volunteer assistance.
