JCC Police Searching for Suspect in Commercial Burglary

JAMES CITY COUNTY — The James City County Police Department (JCCPD) are investigating a burglary that occurred in a Dollar General.

On Oct. 25 at approximately 5:30 a.m., an unidentified person gained entry into the Dollar General located at 8766 Pocahontas Trail and stole nearly $800 worth of Newport cigarettes.

The suspect shattered the glass case where the cigarettes were stored and placed the cigarettes into a trash bag before leaving the store. JCCPD said that there was no sign of forced entry.
