Williamsburg to Be Featured on HGTV’s House Hunters

WILLIAMSBURG — Local HGTV viewers will soon see some familiar streets on their TVs.

HGTV’s popular television series “House Hunters” filmed in Williamsburg over the summer, and the premiere date has been announced for Tuesday, Nov. 23 at 10 p.m.

“House Hunters” first aired on the HGTV network in 1999 and follows people searching for their new home purchase or rental with a local real estate agent. The long-running series is currently in its 207th season.

The Williamsburg episode will air as episode 10 of season 207.

“A couple discovers that blending their families together and buying a home is putting their relationship to the test in Virginia. Her frugal ways are at odds with his love of spending the most money for the very best,” the episode synopsis reads.

Ellen Knecht, a realtor with Liz Moore & Associates, said that the episode will feature coverage of Williamsburg neighborhoods, as well as Williamsburg as a community.
