The City of Williamsburg to Close Offices For Veterans Day

WILLIAMSBURG — The City of Williamsburg announced that it will be closing all of its offices on Nov. 11 in observation of Veterans Day.

This closing will include the City Municipal Building on Lafayette Street in addition to the Quarterpath Recreation Center and the Williamsburg-James City County Courthouse on Monticello Avenue.

The City of Williamsburg asks that if people need to pay a bill when their offices are closed they can use the 24-hour bill payment drop box located at the front of the city Municipal Building on 401, Lafayette St., for City transactions. The drop box payments will not be posted until Friday, Nov. 12. Payments can also be made online.

Waller Mill Park will still be open during regular hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additionally, the City asks that for water emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays, to call 757-220-2331.
