WILLIAMSBURG — The Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg has hired Brandon Randall as its new executive director.

Randall, a Williamsburg native and graduate of Bruton High School and Hampden-Sydney College, started his new role on July 6. He previously worked for Anheuser-Busch InBev as a business process manager, as well as serving on several Hospice House boards.

“Brandon is passionate about the mission of Hospice House,” said Scott Stabler, president of Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg Board of Directors. “His enthusiasm is driven by personal experience, as his father’s final hours came in the House. The Search Committee was also impressed with Brandon’s servant leadership. He has supervised, mentored and energized others at every stage of life. He has routinely been able to build and sustain caring relationships of trust. He’s a dynamic communicator.”

Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg was founded in 1982 as a nonprofit charitable organization to improve the quality of life for terminally ill patients and provide support for their families. The Hospice House facility opened its doors in 2002 and has provided short term residential care for respite and end of life support.

The organization is funded entirely by charitable contributions. It strives to make sure that no family or individual ever receives a bill for services and support.

“I want to ensure that everyone knows how amazing and how special Hospice House is,” Randall said. “I don’t want anyone to not experience what Hospice House can offer because they didn’t know about it. One huge responsibility of mine is to make sure we increase visibility and understanding in our community of who we are and what we do.”
