Dust off your resume, there’s a job fair coming to Norfolk

NORFOLK — The Department of Human Services will host its annual spring career fair on June 6, where participants can meet and interact with more than 50 employers.

The career fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Workforce Development Center, 201 East Little Creek Road.

Participants are encouraged to “dress to impress” and bring plenty of resumes, officials said in a news release.

All job seekers are welcome to meet and mingle with re-entry and disability friendly employers offering living wage and salaried positions, officials said.

Register now and receive important updates before the event including new employers.

Registration not required to attend.

Employers, including the City of Norfolk, ADP, Collonna’s Shipyard, Wawa, Wegmans and the U.S. Census, will be accepting resumes and applications in fields such as health care, human services, government, public safety, education, retail, customer service, skilled trades, staffing and information technology.
