Baseball fans to pay more for parking at Harbor Park this year

NORFOLK — Do you have a ticket to see the Baltimore Orioles play off against the Norfolk Tides next week?

It’ll cost you a little more to park near the stadium than it would have last year.

Norfolk has increased its parking rates for lots at Harbor Park by $1, including the gravel lots near the Interstate 264. Sports fans will now need to pay $6 to park their cars for the duration of the game.

All lots will accept credit cards, as well as cash, said Norfolk spokeswoman Lori Crouch.

“We’re trying to give that flexibility,” Crouch said.

If Harbor Park lots fill up, the city recommends people park in the Waterside, MacArthur South or Fountain Park garages, which are nearby.
