Starting Nov. 12, park guests will find themselves entranced with the mood of the season with the festive flair provided at BGW. Boasting over ten million twinkle lights, seasonal shows, winter-favorite food and drinks, and a host of new events for this year’s celebration.

“Christmas Town is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to create unforgettable memories in an incredible park setting and we are thrilled to feature its full, park-wide return this year,” said BGW President Kevin Lembke. “With more than ten million lights and all new shows, 2021 promises to be our best holiday celebration ever.”

Unlike previous seasons, BGW will continue to stage its award-winning show, “Celtic Fyre,” but this time, with a holiday twist in “Celtic Fyre: A Christmas Celebration.” Located at the Abbey Stone Theatre in the Ireland section of the park, this popular performance will include a bit of a holiday spin on the fan-favorite show.

The park will also introduce other shows such as “Up on the Haus Top” at the Festhaus, which will feature the performance of Christmas classics, and “Unto Us,” a choral spectacular in which BGW notes is about, “the greatest story ever told” in its depiction of the “first Christmas” in the open-air Il Teatro di San Marco Theater.

New activities have also been added to include a holiday scavenger hunt and the North Pole Nightcap Bar which will feature new holiday cocktails.

Guests can also expect the return of favorites such as the shows, “Scrooge No More” at the Globe Theater and “O’Tannenbaum” at the tree in front of the Festhaus. Additionally, children will love meeting with the characters from “Sesame Street” with “Elmo’s Christmas Wish” in the Sesame Street Forest of Fun.

Additionally, BGW welcomes back champion figure skater, Elvis Stojko, for its “‘Twas the Night” ice skating show.

Overall, there will be over twenty rides open, festive treats, holiday shopping, and immersive experiences all though out the park.

“From the meticulously decorated trees to the beautifully choreographed new shows, this year’s Christmas Town gives us all a reason to celebrate the season again with friends and family,” said Lembke. “Not even Scrooge himself will be able to resist joining in on the festive holiday cheer.”
