JCC Police Investigate Theft of $7,000 Horse Saddle

JAMES CITY COUNTY — James City County Police Department (JCCPD) is investigating the grand larceny of a horse saddle valued at approximately $7,000.

JCCPD said that on Sept. 13, between 7:30 and 11:15 a.m., an unknown person or persons stole a Butet Premium horse saddle valued at approximately $7,000.

The saddle was stolen from a horse trailer parked in the 9100 block of Richmond Rd. in Toano.

The saddle has identifying marks of black triangular stains on either side from boot polish transfer and a gold nameplate on the back.

JCCPD is asking for anyone who has seen someone in possession of this saddle or knows who may have been involved in the incident to contact Officer Casper at (757) 253-1800 or courtney.casper@jamescitycountyva.gov.
