Here’s something non-coronavirus: Yorktown brings home gold in Coastal Virginia’s annual contest…again

York County brought in top awards—including several two Overall Gold recognitions.

Both Yorktown Beach and Yorktown Market Days were recognized as top choices in all of Hampton Roads., according to Coastal Virginia Magazine’s just-released 2020 Readers’ Choice “Best of Coastal Virginia Contest.”

Nearly 300,000 votes were cast in categories including restaurants, local attractions, travel & leisure, and shopping.
