A number of offices around the Historic Triangle have announced closures schedule changes for Labor Day.
City of Williamsburg
Monday garbage collection has been rescheduled to Tuesday, and the regularly scheduled Tuesday collection will be Wednesday.
Quarterpath Recreation Center, Williamsburg Regional Library, and all city offices in the Municipal Building and the Williamsburg-James City County Courthouse will be closed today.
Waller Mill Park will observe normal operating hours.
James City County
County government offices, the JCC Recreation Center, the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center, county convenience centers, the Transfer Station, the JCC Library and the Williamsburg-James City County Courthouse will all be closed today.
There will be no changes to the recycling schedule.
York County
County offices, York-Poquoson Social Services, York County Public Libraries, the Waste Management Center offices, the VPPSA Composting Facility Garbage, and the Transfer Station will all be closed today.
The York County/Poquoson office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will be open.
There will be no curbside garbage collection on Labor Day. Those who usually receive collection on Monday will be postponed until Tuesday. Tuesday’s collection will be moved to Wednesday.
Recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday.
