The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an unknown male approached a woman in a car at the Bank of America location on the 4500 block of Route 17 on Friday, Nov. 30. The suspect punched her and made off with an undisclosed amount of money in a deposit bag.
The suspect approached the woman at approximately 9:12 p.m. as she was attempting to make an after-hours deposit. The suspect had his face covered and was dressed in all black, according to a press release from the York-Poquoson’s Sheriff’s Office. The woman was not hurt in the robbery.
