NORGE — Williamsburg Urgent Care has officially soft-opened its second location in Norge at the former site of 501 Galley.
Williamsburg Urgent Care’s first facility opened in 2018 at 5239 Monticello Ave. with a desire to do healthcare “the old-fashioned way.” Dr. Anna Stankiewicz said she wanted to create a place where people felt heard and cared for.
From the beginning, Stankiewicz said that being privately owned allowed them to focus on patients first, taking the time to explain things and answer questions. Over the years, she says the community has trusted them with their care, and that has been the most meaningful part of the journey.
The decision to place the new clinic in Norge was due to Stankiewicz seeing a need and opportunity to serve people where they live, adding it felt like a community that values connection and aligned with how Williamsburg Urgent Care practices medicine.
“It feels really special — and a little surreal,” Stankiewicz said. “Opening a second location is exciting, but it also comes with a lot of gratitude. It means our patients trusted us enough to grow with us. Being able to expand while keeping the same caring, personal approach is something I’m incredibly proud of. It reminds me why we started in the first place.”
“At the end of the day, this is about people and our community. When someone walks through our doors, they’re often worried, stressed, or not feeling their best. We take that seriously. We want our patients to feel heard, supported, and confident in their care. As we grow, that will never change. Our focus will always be on the community and the people we serve,” she added.
Currently, the facility is operating on limited hours. Later in January, a ribbon-cutting is planned to mark the official grand opening, after which, hours will be extended. To learn more, visit Williamsburg Urgent Care’s official website.
