Husband and wife team Mike and Rebecca Suerdieck are the owners, writers, and producers of the Williamsburg Old Time Radio Hour, a live production that will be held at the Kimball Theatre on Dec. 23 and 30. The theatrical performance features skits, stories and novelty advertisements in the form of an old-time radio show set in Williamsburg, VA in the 1930s during the era of the Colonial Restoration. Mike and Rebecca and their cast and crew came to the Tide Studio to share some selections from the production and explain how they created the foley sound effects and script. Listen here:
