W&M Athletics Hosts Annual Teddy Bear Toss on Nov. 12 vs. Norfolk State

WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary Athletics will partner with the Children’s Hospital of Richmond and VCU Health for the third annual Teddy Bear Toss during halftime of the Tribe men’s basketball’s next game home against Norfolk State on Tuesday, Nov. 12. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. from Kaplan Arena.

Fans are encouraged to bring brand new teddy bears or plush toys to toss at halftime. Collected toys will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond for the holiday season. The Spirit Shop & Bookstore, operated by Barnes & Noble College Booksellers, will have bears for sale on the concourse at the game.

Fans who participate in the Teddy Bear Toss will have a chance to win Tribe Athletics experiences, gift cards to local businesses, or other items. Be sure to stop by the concourse to fill out tags for your bears to be contacted after the game for prize pick up.

The game will also be streamed on FloCollege and broadcast regionally on MASN with Jay Colley and Bobby Dwyer on the call. Tribe fans can catch the action on the Tribe Sports Network with Andrew Phillips on the call. Locally in Williamsburg, fans can listen in on The Tide 92.3 FM.
