WILLIAMSBURG — After earning an impressive 34-24 victory against Furman on Saturday, the William & Mary football team moved up in both national polls.
W&M jumped to No. 11 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll and No. 12 in the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
With the win against Furman, the Tribe concluded its non-conference slate with a 3-1 record and was undefeated against FCS competition. All three of the wins came against teams in the Southern Conference.
W&M will return to action when it opens its CAA schedule at home against Hampton at Zable Stadium on Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at TribeAthletics.com.
