WILLIAMSBURG— The Junior Woman’s Club of Williamsburg (JWCW) is hosting its sixth annual Brews that Benefit fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Alewerks Brewing Company from noon until 4 p.m.
This year, Brews that Benefit coincides with Alewerks’ 18th anniversary also known as its Jubilee XVIII Party.
Brews that Benefit is a family-friendly event that features a vendor market, free photo booth, face painting, lawn games, Bald Guys Pies and Piha Aloha food trucks, Flossed Out Cotton Candy, 50/50 raffle, raffle items, and live music by Felicia Hoyos and Patrick Ryan Trio.
Art on the Square will sell commemorative posters to raise money for scholarships to high school seniors.
Admission is free and open to the public.
“We are thankful for our partnership with Alewerks and invite the community to join us for a fun-filled day,” said Kristin Barr, President of JWCW.
Alewerks has been a long-time supporter of JWCW and is donating a portion of its profits from the day to the club.
Barr said, “We rely heavily on community partners in fulfilling our mission and are grateful for Alewerks’ generous contributions.”
The JWCW serves the community through financial and volunteer assistance.
Every year, JWCW hosts fundraising events, including Brews that Benefit, and a portion of the proceeds are donated locally in the form of mini-grants to other nonprofits and awarded as scholarships to high school seniors.
