WILLIAMSBURG — Streamline Roofing announced the recipient of its 7th annual “Raise the Roof” initiative — Coach Andy Linn, a football coach at Lafayette High School.
Linn received a new roof, as well as a brand-new HVAC system from Riverside Heating and Air.
According to Streamline Roofing, the project embodies its ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, adding “Coach Linn has been a pillar of support and inspiration for students and athletes, significantly enriching the Williamsburg community through his dedication and leadership.”
“Our goal with Raise the Roof is to recognize and support those who make the biggest impact on our community,” said Jeff Skinner of Streamline Roofing. “Coach Linn’s unwavering commitment to the students and athletes of WJCC has not only fostered a stronger community spirit but also made Williamsburg a better place to live.”
Jeff Skinner, owner of Streamline Roofing and Taylor Rowe, owner of Riverside Heating and Air, are both former students and players for Linn.
“Let me say I am truly honored, humbled, and blessed to receive such a gift,” stated Linn.
Linn is also excited to raise awareness and donations for the Lafayette Care Closet, a program that began for his players and now provides all Lafayette students in need with food, clothing and more.
This year’s Installation Celebration will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Frothy Moon Brewhouse.
Live music by Scott Wise, food and brews will be available.
Attendees will celebrate and honor Coach Linn while collecting gift cards and donations for the Lafayette Care Closet.
