HISTORIC TRIANGLE— Remnants of Hurricane Debby are expected to impact the region by the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service, with widespread rainfall now the primary concern.
The National Weather Service said as of Tuesday morning it will continue to monitor now Tropical Storm Debby as it “meanders” off the southeast coast for the next couple of days before it is expected to track inland and weaken. The heaviest rain is likely to fall on the region Thursday and Friday.
