JAMES CITY COUNTY — Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Interstate 64 in the early hours of Monday morning in James City County.
According to Virginia State Police, it responded to the single-vehicle fatal crash in James City County at 4:06 a.m. on Monday, June 17. A sedan traveling westbound on I-64 ran off the road near Exit 231, striking a utility pole, an electrical box and a tree.
There is one confirmed fatality, police said.
State police said the crash remains under investigation.
