KemperSports Selected to Manage Williamsburg Sports and Events Center

NORTHBROOK — KemperSportsa leading golf, sports, entertainment and hospitality company, has been selected by the Historic Triangle Recreational Facilities Authority (HTRFA) to manage the Williamsburg Sports and Events Center in Williamsburg.

The HTRFA is a partnership between the City of Williamsburg, James City County and York County.

The facility, which is currently being designed, is scheduled to open in 2026.

KemperSports Venues, a division of KemperSports, said it will “aim to deliver a best-in-class indoor sports center experience as the facility looks to become a premier destination for youth sports tournaments and events as well as a recreational resource for the local community.”

Once complete, the Williamsburg Sports and Events Center will include more than 200,000 square feet of recreation space, including 12 basketball courts that can be converted to 24 volleyball courts and 36 pickleball courts, conversion turf capabilities with enough space for one full-size football field or six five-on-five soccer fields, a climbing wall, meeting space, and food and beverage areas.
