WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary will not renew Head Baseball Coach Mike McRae’s contract, the school announced today. McRae just completed his third season with the Tribe.
“We are very appreciative of Coach McRae’s work with our baseball program,” said William & Mary Director of Athletics Brian Mann, “and we wish him the best in the next phase of his career.”
The Tribe will begin the search for a new head coach immediately, said Mann. “We expect a strong field of candidates and look forward to finding our next leader for Tribe baseball.”
Over the last three years, the Tribe had a 90-74 (.549) overall record and a 42-39 (.519) mark in the CAA; most recently finishing fifth in the conference standings.
